  1. To upgrade from a older version of CALENDAR, simple replace CAL.EXE      
  2.  
  3. At the moment, the shareware & registered versions are essentially
  4. the same -- however, future versions may have special features
  5. which will only work in the registered versions.
  6.  
  7.       Here are all the official calendar releases with revision list:

  9.  5/14/92   v1.11  - Registered versions display "Thank-you" message,
  10.                     pauses, and clears screen.
  11.                   - Unregistered versions now print an unregistered
  12.                     message on printouts.
  13.                   - "Initializing Printer" message now appears before
  14.                     a printout -- on a Postscript printer with HP
  15.                     emulation, if it is in Postscript mode, it can
  16.                     take awhile before a printout begins.  Before,
  17.                     the status line went blank, and it looked like
  18.                     the program had locked-up.  This now erases all
  19.                     doubt of a "lock-up".
  20.                   - <ALT P> now prints instead of <SPACE>; there have
  21.                     been some complaints that the space bar is too
  22.                     easy to hit & a calendar may be accidently
  23.                     printed.
  24.                   - Fixed centering on printouts (off-line slightly).
  25.                   - Pressing <ESCAPE> at the end of the current year
  26.                     will allow the user to enter a new year.
  27.                   - Displays messages while waiting for response 
  28.                     on options screen.
  29.                   - Fixed printer bug; on an XT & 286, my error checking
  30.                     to see if the printer is on-line worked.  A different
  31.                     status code was returned on a 386 (I still have yet
  32.                     to test it under a 486), resulting in a DOS "Write
  33.                     Fault Error".  Fixed.

  35.  4/17/92   v1.1   - Calendars can now be printed (through PRN device)
  36.                   - Program will NOT run unless configuration file 
  37.                     is present.
  38.                   - No bugs were fixed simply because none have been
  39.                     reported.
